Guard against purse snatchers – Every female or male carrying a purse
is apossible target. Senior Citizens re especially susceptible to these
criminals. You are safer in the company of someone else.
Credit cards, money, driver license, keys and jewelry should be carried
in a coat, sweater or pants pocket. So if they grab your purse and take it,
you can still get home and have your persoal belongings.
Don’t carry weapons that can be used against you!!! Carry a police whistle
and a small flashlight on your key chain where they are available.
Make a habit to carry your keychain in a pocket – NOT in your purse.
Don’t put your name or address on keys. We do not want to tell the
thief whee you live. NEVER carry your Social Security on you or anywhere, keep
in a safeplace at home……
